Our Story
JR Media Pacifique is a dynamic video production company based in New Caledonia and founded by seasoned Fijian media consultant, director, and television producer John Rabuatoka. With over 18 years of hands-on experience across the Pacific region, John brings a unique blend of storytelling expertise, cultural understanding, and technical excellence to every project.
Based in New Caledonia, JR Media Pacifique operates as a freelance media consultant service that currently engages in production works for different divisions within the Pacific Community (SPC) and has been selected as prefered supplier of Videography, Radio and Television production services for the Pacific Community (SPC) FAME Division.
About the founder and Lead Consultant.
John Rabuatoka, through his extensive career, has directed and produced a diverse portfolio of impactful television programs, documentary films, and multimedia content across the Pacific and beyond. His work spans countries including Australia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, the Federated States of Micronesia, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Fiji, Cook Islands, and New Caledonia, as well as international locations such as Manila (Philippines), India, and the Disney Lot in Hollywood USA. His expertise includes documentary storytelling, commercial campaigns, community engagement content, sports broadcasting, and regional environmental initiatives.
John Rabuatoka, has successfully collaborated with a wide range of regional and international organizations, including the Pacific Community (SPC), United Nations (UN), SPREP, FHI360, UNICEF, GGGI, WCPFC, MMR, ExxonMobil, and MRDC, among others.
